Nowadays the technology is developing very fast. The scientists have invented a special type of adhesive that can be used in medical purpose – the medical adhesive. The demand for dental and medical adhesives is growing all the time, as the different areas where to use it are invented. The medical adhesive is not only used in medical purposes but it is also used in people’s everyday life. The medical adhesive is use in very many different purposes. Medical adhesives can be used to glue the prosthetic to the human skin, to bond the new hair to the already existing hair, to insulate or to bond the conductors at the proximal end of the lead, to fill the gaps between the lead body, the carrier and the shell, to adhere the breast forms to the chest etc. It is also used in plastic surgery. When the medical adhesive is being used, there are some facts that people should be ware of. Namely, if the person has a very sensitive skin then it may happen that the medical adhesive can cause him or her allergic reaction. In this case the person should not continue to use the medical adhesive and he or she should discuss the issue with a doctor. Also, when it is used in medical purpose, the doctor should make it clear whether it is suitable for patient or not even before using it.
